SAS IMS was established by Deep Education Society as an institution oriented towards the cause of need-based education, aiming at optimum growth. The vision and single minded dedication of the Deep Education Society saw the college evolve from a humble beginning with just two teachers training courses, D.T.Ed  and B.Ed to a model college with all possible conventional and restructured courses, added year after year at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college which was started in August 2006, with D.T.Ed and B.Ed programs has now progressed to management department offering MBA/MMS and BMS courses as well.

The new building was inaugurated on 20th Feb. 2011 by the Honourable Minister Mr. Rajendra Gavit. Ever since its inception the college has the distinction of excelling in academics and extracurricular activities. It has within a short span of time, acquired the reputation of being one of the best colleges in the vicinity of Boisar. The core strength of the institute is its academic rigor through conceptual training, case studies, projects, presentations and workshops. The teaching is an optimal blend of theory and practice. The college has a strength of over 300 students and around 30 qualified staff members. The faculty at the college is its most valuable resource that brings with it an incomparable set of skills and knowledge. The faculty boasts of varied backgrounds in terms of specialisation and experience. The academic, social and spiritual elements of the college combine to offer the students many windows of opportunities.
